Author's Notes:

Curiousity got the better of me - -

Ding Dong. The door bell rang.

Sitting on the couch trying to get some last minute work done, Angela yelled, "I'll get it!" She took off her glasses, placed them on the coffee table and got up to open the door.

"Hello?" She said not recognizing the person in the doorway in front of her.

     "Yes, can I help you?"

"You probably don't remember me, I'm Kathleen. From the study group? Dave said you invited us over?"

"Oh, yes. I'm sorry." Angela said shaking Kathleen's hand. "Last night was so hectic, I'm sorry we didn't get the chance to be introduced properly."

"Don't worry about it. I had a lot on my mind too."

"Well, you're the first one here.  I was about to get myself a drink in the kitchen, would you like to join me?"

     "That sounds great."

Kathleen put her books down on the small table by the door and followed Angela into the kitchen.

"Go ahead and make yourself comfortable."

"Thank you." Kathleen said taking a seat.

"So, Tony says your group was up studying pretty late last night?" Angela said, pouring Kathleen a glass of lemonade.

Kathleen took the glass from Angela. "I guess you could say that." She raised her glass to her lips with a smile.

"My, my.  What do you mean by that?" The smile on Kathleen's lips made Angela a little curious.  She felt like a teenager hearing the latest gossip.

"Well let's just say, I was inspired by more than the art last night."

"Oh, really? Someone from your study group?"

     "Actually. . ."

Angela stopped her.  "One second I think that's the door.

"Anybody Home?!?" Angela didn't notice the renewed smile that appeared on Kathleen's face as they both recognized Tony's voice coming from the living room.

Angela motioned for Kathleen to join her in the living room.

"Hi, Tony."  She had a huge grin on her face.   She felt like a school girl with gossip to share about a few of Tony's classmates.

Kathleen entered the room.  The three of them had a nice quiet conversation.  Angela was still smiling until she heard Kathleen repeat her "yes you are."  There was something in Kathleen's tone and then the way she looked at him.  Her curiousity got the better of her.  This time her "spidey sense" was tingling, but in a way that made her want to melt into the floor.

"Can I talk to you in the kitchen?"  She had to know, but did she really want to?
