Ugh - Tom Collins is quite the jerk! I like the scene you're painting for us, Tony the knight in shining armor, waiting patiently to rescue Angela from another guy who isn't really interested in her well-being. This is quite good, rosethorn. You've caught the characters very well and I can see this sweet moment happening between them. I can also see Angela putting the magazine aside and sighing then lamenting just as you described it. Really nice work, I'm enjoying this so far.

I like it, it is enjoyable to read, and I think you portray well Tony and his feelings.

I hate the idea of Angela getting married to another man, and worse being happy with that, but I can't wait to see where you take the story, how it will develop !

This is a good first chapter, rosethorn. I'm not sure where in the series this takes place, but it must be fairly early on....season 2 or 3? You've got the dialogue down well, set the scene & whetted my appetite for more. I'm looking forward to the coming chapters. Nice job :-)
